how to use getresponse

hello all new here please i would like to know how to use the getresponse autorespon der with a someone holding by the hand if u know what i mean.. i am already registered with the autoresp. but need to but the html form on my site please need help on this topic thanks

Hi,

Well i will say that using getresponse is not too difficult.

If you built your website yourself,you will simply need to do this yourself by logging on to getresponse.com and go to capture subscribers link and click on edit capture form and simply choose the html and click on start capturing.

You will need to type in your confirmation url if you want to create one. Click on next step. simply select all the codes and paste it in the right position on your website.

You can use a pop up or a static code and you will also need to choose whether you want the confirmation page to point to getresponse page or you may decide to create your own confirmation page.

Be careful to warn your subscribers not to click on fummy links on the page thet comes up after they confirm their subscription in order to avoid unwarranted e-mails.

I hope my little contribution will go a long way to help you.

You really need to take time out to atudy the tutorials vecause you will stil need to perform many tasks like creating your campaign settings, writing follow up messages and choosing intervals for them and lots more.

You can check http://www.diamondfield.net and put in your e-mail address to subscribe and you will see the confirmation page i set up.

And for your second question, getresponse has a free verson and
a paid version that costs like $17 monthly. The free version carries
an advert whenever your message is sent out plus a few of the
features are disabled.

Hey if you seriously cannot afford the $17 monthly, by all means
start with the free version. You can upgrade anytime.

You are finding it difficult to use getresponse because of the complexity of getresponse.
I prefer sendfree.com

There, all you need do is to sign up and look for the add message icon. You add your message (sales letter) and off you go. You can even add follow ups to your message if you deem it necessary.

You will need a paid version to be able to generate the html codes
that will become your optin form.

Move your mouse over subscribers, then point to capture subscribers.

Follow the instructions from there.

I don't think so  Mr Alabi.Though I don't use getresponse,you can generate HTML FORM with your free accont,I did one for my friend in  his Blog,here is  his Blog http://www.mikedone.blogspot.com

I don't think sendfree can be compared with getresponse,(both free and paid version)
If you uses the free version of Sendfree,it will
1.confuses your subscribers on where to subscribe,if they click the subscribe button,it will show more than 5 advertisers in the option.This alone will confuse your subscribers and if they finally subscibe,spamning will force them to unsubscibe to your mailing list because the advertisers they unknowinly subscribe will keep on killing the with message...
2.If you uses the Auturesponder(ie,yourusername@sendfree.com) you may have some subscribers but importing them to your mailing list will be problem because the option is only for the upgraded members.I once have about 138 subcribers but I can't group them because  I don't use the premium account and to do that without paid account,you have to manually add their e-mail adress which they themselves will reconfirm,this alone will contribute losing about 80% of your past subscribers...
 Getresponse is better,you need to sit down,study it and get strated
