1100% Profit In A Year. Is Forex That Profitable?

Hello,

I have been seeing an advert in a business newspaper where someone claims that if you give him some money to trade forex on your behalf, you will be paid
1,100% profit after one year.

By my calculations, that's about 100% monthly. I'm just wondering, is this possible? Isn't this man biting more than he can chew?

I'm not a proffessional forex trader though but I know forex is risky and can swing either way.

i am always of the opinion that if ou home based biz delivers as promised we should give them chance to operate and the money circulate our nation. thas ok by me. but this doesn't nullify the major risk in such trade as forex. it doesnt also remove the fact that every investment is at the investors risk. so if the guy is honest and sincere this conditions are well tabled. and if anyone care to invest its their choice

very interesting claims. anyway they said their slot is filled so they are not accepting anymore clients.

they also have trading system for sale but im not comfortable with their money management in the system advertised where they said u can turn $1000 into $10000 in 3 months.

from my own point of view the weekly target number of pips is achievable but its the number of lots traded that i dont quite agree with. imagine trading standard lots (100K) with just 1000$ that over leveraging!!!

i believe they trade solely on news report release which is very profitable if u know what u r doing.

they have a very impressive account statement on their website. i cald them and asked them if they can show me statement for 4consecutive months so as to get a better picture cos any1 can have a lucky month in forex. however they declined. reason they gave is based on privacy

any1 dealt with them before? please let us know

The 1100% Profit in a year is possible, because it is based on concepts of compounding. It is one of the most reasonable claim on FOREX  I have ever heard out there. And I am always happy to see people who are reasonable and sincere about what they do. From my own calculation as a professional FOREX trader. Even at 3% risk per trade expecting 10% weekly returns, that would be 50% compounded monthly, and about 12,790% compounded yearly. What compounding means is that daily, weekly, and monthly returns are reinvested without withdrawal until the matured term (a year)

I manage account for people on FOREX as well, I never promised any amount, but we share monthly returns based on agreed percentage. I am working on average of 20% weekly and 107% monthly at 6% risk level. But there is option. The option is that the client can decide to reduce the risk level, meaning that the weekly and monthly returns will correspond the risk level. If you are convince of his trading skill, the return is reasonable and achievable.

Could you please upload your broker account statement so that we can verify your claims. Also if you are that succesful how come you can't afford a decent website/blog.

My coming back to FOREX is with $100 to make sure I test and be sure of what I have learned so far, so I am measuring my success on percentage of capital and not on amount of dollars or naira. You don't have to believe my claim because I don't need you investment. Those who believe in me has being investing in me by testing me with a small capital to prove me wrong. All I am trying to say is that it is possible to make 1100% per annum.

I don't know why Nigerian find it so difficult to believe in the possibility of FOREX trading. With your point above, I believe you are one of those who believe that FOREX is a get rich quick scheme, but I don't treat my own trading that way. I try to minimize my risk for consistence trading.

Excuse meee!!! First of all you were the one that went bragging about making 100 percent a month when no one asked you. You went ahead to blab about managing people's money and said we should go to your blog to "track my trading performance". So you are trying to tell me that your so called imaginary clients give you their hard earned money without any proof of performance. Haba ol' boy this no be super story ooo!! Don't tell me about measuring success with money; this is forex we're talking about and its all about money. In case you didn't know in this business success equals pips/money. If you doubt me ask warren buffet, George soros or Bill lipshutz. And don't worry about a demo account statement, I've been in this business long enough such that i can spot a demo account statement a mile off. You don't have to be scared boy!! Whether you're making 10%, 100% or 1000% an hour or you,re making dollars ,naira or cedis all we need is proof. If you could upload your pix without any difficulty then your a/c statement shouldn't be problem. And besides I never said anything about doubting the possibility of forex trading, I've been in forex trading longer than you have so i know the difference between a possibility and a probability. From your Forex lingo its obvious to see you don't  know didsquat about this business or english language for that matter. So run along and find yourself another forum to market your wares(whatever they are) we only need people here that can stimulate our intellects. I tried the site, it said URL not found. With my limited experience in forex I can say its possible to get such returns, but let's face facts: if u can take d pains and patience to sit, study and understand forex signals, and practice enough demo accounts and develop your own profitable system, who needs any1 promising heaven and earth.
