The Access bank has just launch an ATM machine in June, 2007 on which a Mastercard or VISA can be used. Please check out for it at any Access Bank branch office nearest to you. THANKS!

@Olu Joseph,

By using your master card, are you going to be paid in Naira or foreign currency (dollar or pounds)?, I just want to know because I have a master card obtained from Ecobank and I was told that I can actually make a withdrawal from the counter and get paid in dollars. Also, if you look at the card, unlike every other ATM card, it does not have an arrow to indicate the direction for insertion into the ATM machine. I equally learnt that any ATM machine with maestero logo on it can accept either Mastercard or Visa card, I don't know whether it is true or not.www.minvestment.com/?r=9ogini77

Hello,
Your international ATM Cards ie MasterCard, VisaCard, Maestro, Cirrus, Virtual Money Cards and the like can be used, as in you can use them to withdraw money in any international ATM Machines in Nigeria.

You can not withdraw Dollars or Pounds but Naira and you will be paid at the prevailling international exchange currency rate.

You can use your card to withdraw money In Nigeria in any ATM that has any of these cards Log, mostly Zenith Bank, ECO Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and any Five Star Hotel and the MM International Airport Ikeja.

Hello everyone. I'm new here and I see that for several weeks nothing's been posted. Just in case anyone wants to know, I had a prepaid mastercard from Intercontinental Bank which expired Sep. 2009. Before then though, I had withdrawn cash (in naira, of course) from The Zenith ATM gallery on Ajose Adeogun, VI. If my memory serevs me right I also withdrew money right from the Intercontinental Bank ATM on Okota Rd. As far as I know the matter is a simple one. The best way is to try the Zenith ATMs or indeed any ATM with the Mstercard sign on it. If it doesn't work then try your issuing bank's ATM since it should support Mastercard. Clear?
